This week we're in Abingdon, in Oxfordshire where Operation Homefront's mission: to re-build the crumbling HQ of a local organisation that's been at the heart of this rural community for over seventy years – the 24th Abingdon Scout Group. Here in Britain, there are over 8,000 groups that congregate at scout huts, but some are in better condition than others and the one Operation Homefront is faced with was built in 1949 from the remnants of wartime air-raid shelters.
