Jimmy Doherty journeys to the heart of Africa in Uganda to meet a young British couple and their three-month old baby, who are living on the banks of the legendary river Nile. Having found a plot of land, environmentalists Jenny and Charlie hope to create their very own Eden, using the resources that nature has provided to build up a farm. While helping the couple tend to their crops and livestock, Jimmy learns how they struggle to keep baby Ruaraidh safe from the various animals and tropical diseases that inhabit the region. As well as being attacked by army ants and wild African bees, Jimmy finds himself kayaking down the Nile's rapids, all in the quest to understand what drew the couple to this remote part of the world.
