Monty is deciding what needs keeping, what needs throwing out and what needs cutting back. Monty takes out the cosmos as it's done all it can and cuts back the lysimachia. All the buddleias have done well. and have gone on flowering and flowering, and still going, so Monty's not going to cut that back in a hurry. He also won't cut back the euphorbia because he loves the way that the moisture sits on it, and when the light hits it, you get these dancing diamonds above it. Unfortunately, the tithonia has had it but it has also had a good year.
